I’m an MBA with several QuickBooks Certifications and, most importantly, I actually like doing this for you. I was born in Palmer, raised in the Fairview Loop area near Wasilla, and after graduating from Wasilla High School, I got my first professional job in the Conoco Phillips building in downtown Anchorage, Alaska. I started work in insurance out of high school, since have also I’ve lived in Idaho, Texas, and several countries; and worked as a real estate agent, a marketing copywriter, and as an English teacher. I loved business too much to work in a school forever, and teaching middle school for six years changes a man. So I took that passion for teaching, and entered the business world. I started Allen Bookkeeping Solutions with a mission to help people make choices based on truth.
When I’m not bookkeeping, I stay busy with audio and voiceover production, singing, hiking, writing, and language learning. Over the years I’ve made it to intermediate level with Spanish and Korean, though I seem to forget most of it almost as soon as I stop.
